In a departure from the normal bash setting, we thought of doing something different and productive for all of us who enjoy Bukit Kiara trails.
KLMBH is hosting a trail maintenance day at Bukit Kiara Sunday 2nd July 2023. Here you will learn to build, repair and maintain biking trails as well as have some fun doing so. This activity will be led by the hugely influential and master of Kiara, the main man himself - Mr. Pat Brunsdon.
Meeting will be at 4 ways/pondok Bukit Kiara, briefing will be at 9.00am and on-on at 9.15am.
The target trail to rebuild is TNT 🧨 which has fallen into a sorry state over recent time. TNT is up twin peaks, past the bamboo and straight past the twin peaks sign and past the left turn to flintstones. TNT starts just past the open area and finishes at the end of Pure Quill/start of Dirty Deeds (this area is sometimes known as 5 ways).
If you are running late, just head up to twin peaks and on to TNT.
Do bring friends, tools (such as a changkol is most useful but hand saws, rakes, parangs can be utilised) and lots of enthusiasm. Someone will guide you on what to do on that day.
As per KLMBH bash protocol, Bash Piss and his Ass will be somewhere at the top of twin peaks with the normal refreshments (ice cold beer, 100 plus and coke), but we do recommend you bring your hydration pack as you will get quite sweaty.
